The Strategic Current may use artificial intelligence and automation tools to assist with research organization, source discovery, source analysis, transcription, outlining, drafting, editing, translation, visual development, and production workflows.
AI-generated output is not treated as an authoritative source. Material factual claims, citations, quotations, analytical conclusions, and publication decisions remain subject to human editorial review. The Strategic Current retains editorial responsibility for published work.
Synthetic and materially altered media
Synthetic or materially altered images, audio, or video will be identified when the nature of the alteration could reasonably cause the material to be mistaken for authentic documentary media, a real recording, or an event that actually occurred. Routine technical edits such as ordinary cropping, color correction, noise reduction, or formatting do not ordinarily require a synthetic-media label unless they materially change meaning.
Prohibited uses
The Strategic Current does not knowingly use AI to fabricate sources, quotations, eyewitness accounts, documentary evidence, consumer reviews, testimonials, or deceptive representations of real people. AI assistance does not replace source verification, attribution, copyright review, correction standards, or human accountability.
Privacy and confidential material
Confidential source information and other restricted material should not be placed into third-party AI systems unless the tool and use have been specifically approved for that information.
